Mustang Wheels ?????????

I was wondering if anyone has installed the newer cobra mustang wheels on a maxima, from what i hear they are the same lug pattern although since they are for a rear wheel drive, the offset is different.... How can i figure the effects of this and also, if the lug patter is in fact the same....... i know the maximas are 5 by 4.5
my friend has offered me his 96 cobra 5 stars for 300 bucks !!! without tires, so i dont wanna pass this up....somebody help me out ok thanks...........

Uh, the cobra back wheels will be like 10 inches wide..I doubt they will fit inside the well of the maxima. Plus people who know about SVT will think of u as a rice-poser

I have seen this done. I don't think it was a person on the .org, but I have seen a green 4th gen in Fort Collins with 17 inch 5 point Mustang wheels. I thought it looked pretty good, only the max was ridin stock height so the wheel gap was kinda ugly.
If the wheels will fit then I say go for it.

Offsets

are indeed on the mustang rims link (30-32mm)
Maxima offsets on the handy MaxFAQs (35-40mm)

Another potentially useful link
