Blinker Question

Ok I got the clear corners from Greg so I decided to put them in. I then realized after driving my blinkers were gone. I had an extra 10A fuse in there from yesterday so I stuck it in. I noticed that it was turning on the drection I wanted but then also the other directional too. Then it ended up blowing out on me again.

Any Ideas?

Just from putting your clears in? Sounds like you have a couple of cables touching or pinched. You really shouldn't have since it's a simple plug and unplug install. Check your install again. I've put mine in and out a couple of times to change the color of the bulbs and it's been a quick 5 min deal, never messing my blinkers up. Check the install really.

Re: Blinker Question

Maybe when you plugged in the bulbs, you didn't turn the bulb in the socket all the way. Take the bulbs out and put them in again, but make sure to firmly turn them in their socket till they want to turn no further.

Hey guys I figured it out. It was somethign nobody on here would have been able to but I thnka ya for trying. Basicly I fogot that I rewired my blinkers that I needed a dual filiment bulb there where the 1156 is. Since the ones that came with it were singal when I put it in it tried over working them and of course blew the fuses. I found a dual filiment orange bulb and make some conversions to get it to fit into the harness right. So I stuck in the 10A fuse and I am good to go. Oh well problem solved.

Thanks Guys

Yeah, Yeah, I was just about to suggest that; filament, double, got hot and bothered, blew a fuse. Seriously, glad you found the problem.

Thanks. Driving around the city without blinkers adds a whole new level of danger in my commute.
