can someone with a 97-99 max...

do me a favor please....if u have a tape measure...can u please measure the length of the rear bumper for me...measuring point would need to be from wheel well to wheel well...use the line on the bumper as a guide...thanx alot...i need this info asap...i have a 95 max so i need the measurement for the 97-99...i have a lil project that some of ya'll mite like...keke

goto a shopping mall's parking lot with a tape measure and look around for a 97-99, i think it wood be best if u measure on your own for the peace of mind i guesss...what do you have planned anyways??? - please tell me its not one of those home depot body kits again (remember that?)

this is kinda a myth/rumor...i know that 97-99 is a bit longer but i need to know the exact measurements...and there was no post that i can find that confirms the measurements...

IDEA

This is how i got to believe that is was 2 inches more. when u see a 97-99 parked. Pull up next to it. act like your checking a scratch on your bumper. Then just compare the 2!

Ummm, are you going to try to fit a 97-99 body kit piece on the rear bumper on your 96? If so, it will NOT fit unless you custom mount it. Umm, I will measure tomorrow for you guy. Just go ahead and convert your whole rear end like I did.

nah i have a 95 rear bumper in that pic...it's a legit kit...reason why i was asking for the measurement of the 97-99 rear bumper is to see if it would help me with the installations any...turns out it didn't...but good info to have in the near future anyways..

i would take some daytime pic rite now but my lil bro in law borrowed my digi cam last nite...also i got some side skirt on too...if ya'll look really close ya'll would be able to see it...from the side i'm sitting two inches from the ground...on the back rite now i have two options...either have a muffler shop move my dunk muffler down to fit under the cut out or buy a new muffler because if i lower the muffler any more i know i will scratch it big time...i've already done so a couple of time already the way it is now...i will let ya'll know what kit i've used if ya'll haven't figured it out already when i get done with everything...thas is if anyone cared...
