Gotta love CAI

I just got off the road from driving around in my maxima with newly installed Place Racing Cold Air Intake. If you do not have any intake at all, you need to get one. Just the sound of putting it down will make you appreciate the purchase itself. Thanks to Alex at Southwest Autoworks for hookin me up. That place is off the hook if you guys need anything. Y-pipe purchase is on deck.

Yep, Alex is the man! He hooked me up with my new wheels and a new dash kit that will go very well with tan interior. I would definately recommend Southwest Autoworks for all you Max mod needs!

How can you have a 1997 SE-L, when that package was only avaiable in the 99 model year?

97 Maxima SE-L

My max is a "limited" edition. The things that come with limited ar the line down the front quarter panel, the two doors and the back quarter. Also, mine came with the floormats. It says se-l on them, so I didn't just add them.

Southwest autoworks website is kind of under construction. For any of your needs feel free to call him at 602-795-1800.

Your floor mats were added by the previous owner. A pinstripe is not a "limited edition" option. There were no special packages beyond the normal GXE, SE, and GLE trims made by Nissan in 97.

You have a regular SE with a pinstripe and new floor mats.

Southwest Auto Works CAI

I will verify SWAW's own CAI. I saw the dyno results from there's compared to Place Racings on an Altima. SWAW was a little better, I will leave the rest of the secrets to alex.

Let's just say this, we gained 12 HP at the wheels on an ALTIMA (KA motor). I can imagine what ours will do on the Maxima, once production starts next week...

Plus, with ours, you don't cut anything, it is a 100% bolt on!!!!

Well, our new CAIs will be done by the end of next week, and will be cheaper than PR. We expect awesome gains as the Altima showed on the dyno, as the routing of the piping isn't like PR, it runs completely different
