Any consequences for using coolant at Autozone ?

Any consequences for using coolant at Autozone ?

Do I need to stick with Nissan coolant at $17/gallon ?
What do you use and why ?

I don't think you need to shell out $17 a gallon to use the OEM stuff...quality products like Prestone are just as if not better than the OEM stuff...

There is nothing wrong with autozone stuff. Just make sure you completely flush out the old stuff before you put in the new. Mixing might cause the fluids to "interact" with each other and possibly cause gelling and other adverse affects.

I would go to a local Toyota dealership and get their "Red" coolant. It works great and when an external leak is present it'll leave a nice pink trail for you to locate- this is the best feature.

I use Zerex because it's not very corrosive and I change it once a year.
