OBX STS and others shifters... interesting info
Today I decided to look into a STS since I will be installing my suspension in a week and a half. There's some informative threads that talk about the Pacesetter, SMC, Stillen, and very little on the OBX. The OBX is on Ebay for pretty cheap $50, but the part number listed is SS9597. OBX lists that part number on their website for the 95-97 Nissan Sentra and 200SX. I searched for a Maxima application and found 2 places that list part number SS9500 for 95-00 Maximas (1 and 2). OBX doesn't list that part number anywhere OBX
SMC is reccomended along with the Pacesetter, but the Pacesetter lists the part application for '89-94 Nissan Maximas and '86-90 Sentras. Hopefully Courtesy will get some SMCs in time for me to get a shifter, but aparrently only the SMC and Stillen shifters are even supposed to fit. I'm not familiar with Sentras or 200SXs, but do they share our shifting linkage?
