Under normal conditions i would have no problem figuring out what my trouble code means....but this has got me baffled.......on my way home from talking with Delio, my check engine light went on.....so i'm like, "oh ****" and at my destination go to look at my code on the 96 se....low and behold i get 0505....doesn't this mean all is well? after starting the car and the light coming on again, i checked the code again.....same thing... 0505....does that code mean anything else???? did i miss something? thanks..

0505 is the "all clear" code.

Reset the ECU and move on with life.

I did reset it, but 3 seconds after turning on the car the check engine light would go back on....

read it again.. the 0505 usually comes on after you reset the ECU, but it probably means there was a real code in there before.. you should be able to get a real code out of there. just turn the screw once clockwise, once counterclockwise..
