yes you need a new harness.........the old one prolly wont be able to handle the load

Is the harness they sell any good?... seem kinda inexpensive compared to others I have seen....

They definately need a harness. I had the same bulbs and it melted my OEM harness.

are these bulbs any good ? would I need a new wiring harness for the foglights also ???

I had those bulbs in for close to 10 months without any problems. Since they are 85/80 opposed to 55/50, the higher wattage can melt your harnesses if there is a problem with the ground.

Stick with stock wattage, but if you are going with the higher, get the APC heavy duty harness that plugs into the stock driverside harness and routes to both lights. Install instructions are on maximadriver.com .
