why do they have to put that clear lens over them like that? they would look more integrated with the car if they didn't have it - and i would DEF buy them

Is there any way of taking those altezzas apart? I mean even the cf ones, if you take it apart, mask the light itself off and paint the cf part and put them back together, Id say you have the closest thing to real skyline tails...I dont like painting the outside too much, but does anyone know if you can take them apart?

I have an awful lot of carbon fiber around me, and fail to see any in these alteza's. I think when the light hits them they will still stick out like a sore thumb from a hundred fifty yards out. They just look tacky, no where close to looking like they belong on the car. I really wish I knew how to mold polycarbonate. Then I could build my own tails, and have the black tint to match my super black.

Anyone got gray?

I think a gray Maxima would look perfect with those carbon fiber Altezzas.

Otherwise, painting them seems to be the best way to go. If only the manufacturer intentionally made these so that you can take them apart. I'd love to paint them to match my car.
