Well i have 96 GXE with 49000 miles on it, i bought it new on early 97 for around 19k with 1000 miles on it. My friend just got 99 SE-K with 35k miles, it's used (obviously) and he paid 24K when he bought itlast month. Here's question. He is making fun of GXE and telling me his car is faster then mine. Well it's SE and it suppose to be little faster or same as mine.
We both have auto, i have spolier, intake, fstb, rsb, rstb, dunk exhaust, and other minor mod. It look just like SE. hehe. He got nothing in his car, (he's not into mod thing). I know i'm better driver then him,
Tell me what you guys think about this. Race is up on this sat night.
by the way, he is just a rich guy who don't mind getting ripped off at dealership. lolz...

 

is quicker then any 99 because of emmision crap and additional weight also 99 is the slowest year 4TH gens 95 being the quickest{haha} then 96 then 97-98 and last but not least 99 ,It does not make a difference if its a GXE or SE or even GLE they are all just as quick the only difference is that hte SE has a more aggresive suspension,plus you have some mods and he is stock you will beat him hands down there is no question about it so go show him up on Saturday and tell us what happenes,I would say good luck but your not going to need it Peace.

 

You should kick his ***. Intake and exhaust should have you with about 3-8hp more at the wheels than him. You should make a bet like the loser buys the winner a SS Y pipe .

Out of my two Maximas, my 95 5spd is quickest hands down but my 99SE-L is smoother up past 4000 rpm to redline.
