THROTTLE CABLE adjustment works

Couple of weeks ago I've asked an oppinion on the low end power and one of you guys have reccomended the Throttle cable adjustment.

It really did work, now my car is more precise when I push my pedal just a little bit!

Although, maybe I've adjusted it too tight?
Would it give me any weird side effects???????????

Thanx

you should tighten it just so that the wire is not out of the loop...and there should be no side effects.

If it's too tight you're butterfly valve will be slightly opened, using more gas, your idle will be to high and if you floor it your cable can stretch and possibly break.

The proper check for this requires two people. One in the car with the engine off, you under the hood. Have your partner push the pedal to the floor, you should hear a *click*, if you do the cables fine, if you don't then it needs adjusted.

Btw... there is 'suppose' to be slack in the cable.
