Re: Weapon R coilovers

it's really worthless for me to post, but i am riding on Koni Yellow's with Weapon R's coilovers and it's not a bad ride.. might be an idea to save up and wait.. i just need to figure out what setting to put these struts on.

by the way, the Weapon R's sit low and are noisy.

if you are going to be low then you need a very good strut to support that and you have no chance of meeting your pricerange. you need either the koni or the KYB-AGX because when you go low you need a really strong strut or you'll just blow them.

airbags.. custom kit would be the only thing to satisfy me unless alex (max8mycash) makes a new kit that sits the car down a hell of a lot lower then the first kit. i have weapon Rs and koni yellows and they arent at there lowest point, they are already sitting at the lowest point that the previous air kit i owned was at..

mitch, whatever is causing this HORRIFIC clunking, it needs to stop.. i get weird looks from people when i turn my wheel in a parking lot.

Is it clunking from the front when you turn your steering wheel? If so, its your strut bearings. If its coming from the rear then its not your strut bearings, because there are no strut bearings in the rear.

you need to replace your upper front strut bearings to make that loud clunk noise go away. i had the same problem with my gc its like 30 bux for a fricken piece of plastic at the dealer. o yea hockeyghst if u plan on lowering yur car you need to replace your struts with koni or the agx cause if you dont you will be bouncing everywhere trust me on that one

the funny thing is, his car litterally sits that low in person. I was driving behind him on the way up to the Woodbury meet a while back and i thought his car would skip off the road cause it was bouncing so much. Guess its the Tokicos!
