Can a auto starter make your starter go bad?

Can a auto starter make your starter go bad?

I have the viper 550 with auto start i have the alarm and i use the auto start i recently changed my starter with a rebuilt one now the starter went bad again the is the auto starter causing the problem or maybe the rebuilt starter is no good?

I would imagine if the wiring has not been done properly it could easily cause all sorts of problems. Sorry I have no concrete answer for you I just wanted to ask how much you paid for your alarm?

if it's wired properly, no it wont harm your starter.
