Do I have to change shocks and struts ??

Here is the deal guys I have a 96 SE and I only have 58,000 miles on it, Will I have to change the shocks and struts before I put coil overs on!!!! If so why they don;t have that many miles on them.
What brand do you think I should get if I have to change them??
The reason I ask this is because I have spent all the money I had to put mods on my car!

ok, now it depends on what kind of coilovers you're planning on getting... true coilovers already have the shocks included in the kit. "coilovers" like from Ground Control require you to purchase aftermarket shocks (ie. KYB AGX). it all also depends what kind of ride you want from "soft" to aggressive. coilovers will be much stiffer than normal.
