MAXIMA vs Ford Ranger Sport...hahahah

my friend thinks he'll smoke me in his Ford Ranger Sport...he has been running 1/4 miles of 16.8 and thinks he has a shot at me...i have never done it but I KNOW i can run better than that....he has the same HP as me, automatic, and weights a good 3,600 pounds....i know my car weights high 2,000's to MOST, mid 3,000's...i'm guessing around 3,100....but i'll race him in two weeks at my FIRST TRACK!!!! wowsers!! and i put 5 bucks in just to make the race a little tasty...i have NO MODIFICATIONS performance wise, and have ABS, and may have my chrome 18" on by then if i have time to clean them....my chances are good right?

You should win...

But DON'T put the chrome wheels on they will hurt you if anything.

Leave the nice wheels off until after the race. Leave your friend in the dust, and then get all up in his face and laugh at him. It'll be great!

Well, The last time I went to the track, this kid was running a 95GLE and his best time was 16.9
But I doubt he knew how to drive. If you know how to race an auto, you should be able to beat your friend.
