1 Gen. Cattman Coilover Help!!!

I know there will be pinging from the beginning, and I have done searches on this topic... has anyone fix this??? because i don't think 800 bux for upgrade to 2nd gen is my option =\ oh yeah..and on the rear struts.... i think i installed something wrong.... is there suppose to be something between that metal cylinder? because it's hitting the cap that bolts on to the trunk...i see a rubber thingy ... now is that suppose to go on the top inside the trunk? or is that suppose to go between the metal cylinder or does it go in trunk??? thanks in advance i know people won't let me down. thanks again

Re: 1 Gen. Cattman Coilover Help!!!

The only reason I upgraded to the 2nd generation was because the monoball mount in the front kept breaking. The new design seems stronger for that and gives more travel for a lower car, but there are still some things that could be done better for $800.
I'm still running the 1st generation rear mounts. I have a couple of washers between the top hat (on top of the springs) and the stock mount plate in the fender. The rubber thingy goes over the strut rod inside the trunk, then washers and the nut.
