my keyless went out a few years ago and now the drivers side door wont always turn to the right the first try, anybody else have this? possible solutions? WD40 works for a bit. I am just scared that my key will break soon and ill have to climb through the passenger door.

 

go to the dealership and get them to make you a new key from your VIN. If that doesn't work, don't pay for the key and I don't know.

 

It's just the lubrication in the lock gumming up. Mine does the same thing, and it's worse when it's cold out. WD40 is a fine quick fix. If you want something longer-lasting, you could replace the locks, or maybe take them out and relubricate them with something thicker than WD40.

If your key does break off, don't worry, you won't have to climb in through the passenger side! You can just turn your spare key (you do have one, right?) twice on the passenger side and all of your doors will unlock in unison. You can then walk back around and get in on the driver side. Pretty spiffy huh?

 

the problem with the key is that the lock is not straight..you probably have to put it in at an angle and keep trying you can get a copy from off the vin but if its the lock it still wont work!! holla back..
