My new maxima

I just purchased a 1995 Nissan Maxima SE. With all the options. My question is, what parts should I get for it, and what order should I get them in?

pm0riarty, there are lots of things you can do to your car. Just take some time and read through the threads on here and check out the shop talk area of this site. Lots of goodies there as well. What you should do to your car 1st is a matter of personal choice. You can go for looks 1st or performance. It's all up to you. Once your familar with the common things you can do to your car, you will be able to make your own decisions on what to start with.

Good luck and welcome to Maxima.org

P.S. You will learn quicky that "search" is your friend, there is a ton of good info already on this site. But don't hesitate to post your questions, just be ready for the flames. Believe me, they will come.

I don't have too much to spend right now, but I'm open to all suggestions. So I know what to save for.

Why does everyone say that? Don't waste your $60 on those, it's much better spend on an FSTB (Front Strut Tower Bar). Also look into a RSB (Rear Sway Bar - $140). These two components will improve your handling significatly. Then you might want to look into a cold air intake ($200). They will give you quite a nice increase in power as well as a to-die-for sound from your engine. Then you should proceed to a y-pipe ($200-$400), which will give you a relatively large amount of power as well and apparently a nice groan from your exhaust. Then maybe the clear corner. All of the items mentioned here except for the y-pipe can be purchased through www.CustomMaxima.com , and the y-pipe from www.Cattman.com or www.EatRiceZone.com . Have fun.

You spend 60 DOLLARS on CLEAR CORNERS!?!?

Clear corners can be had anywhere from $19-35 on ebay. Diamond Cut clear corners, can be had anywhere from $35-60.

You got hosed, Cyrus.. you got hosed bad.

I got the brand-spanking new ones (LEAK-PROOF) from Taiwan. That's how much they run for and Greg (CustomMaxima) wants $69. Maybe you should upgrade from your Version 1.0 corners?

you can go all different directions

suspension

looks

engine

brakes

if u just wanna look good do some saving for a body kit and paint

if u want to race and pimp it... go for suspension...doesnt matter how fast u are... u have to stay alive and keep ur car on the ground

get ur front strut bar
rear anti sway bar

springs...shocks.. struts

then go for brakes... cross drilled rotors and metal matrix pads.. steel braided lines

after that your engine is all up to you... naturally asprited or supercharged... all about the bens u wanna spend.... total package for a fat ride is gonna run around 15k or more

Not the same. Version 1.0 + Sealant DOES NOT EQUAL Version 2.0 BTW I got them from Stealth Max as well as 30+ other people so if you think I got ripped tell the others and all the CusomMaxima customers... That's what I thought, so maybe I should bug YOU to get newer clears?
