You gotta do a search, and I don't remember on which one but there is a thread in there that gives an alternate website to look at the code table. Good luck. BTW you will probably need more numbers to decipher the fault code. I believe the 34 is probably 0304 which is the knock sensor, but I don't remember what 0806 is.

I hate having to disagree with the decoder but in the Haynes manual the 0806 code indicates "fuel injection system lean or rich (left bank)". This would be the front bank. Could someone with a Chilton confirm this so I won't sound like an A$$.

If you get the CEL again you may also have 0414 or 0415 along with 0806. Both of these are related to a rich or lean condition from the O2 sensor for the same bank.

Sorry DCmax...

I have a Chilton and it dosen't list code 0806. It does list 0304 as a knock sensor problem. the probable causes are: 1) Harness or connectors are shorted. 2) knock sensor.

hmmm...i am noticing that my air/fuel ratio gauge sits on lean 90% of the time. i did actually tap into the front oxygen sensor, so, this may be true. i'll try tapping the rear sensor tomorrow and see if it reads the same. could it be a problem with the injectors running lean or would it be the oxygen sensor??? any instructions on how to check the 02 sensor???????
