hey guys i have a problem with my engine..I start the car up and it starts normally then it will strain for a second can someone tell me why that is??

 

What do you mean by 'strain'? Could you be more specific? I had some starting problems with my Max before, so I wonder if I might help.

it will turn over and then it sounds like it doesnt want to stay on and strains like if you were taking a crap..lol

 

what does the tach do? Does the car ever stall? DO you have problems once the car is started like say when you're on the highway and go to make a pass? I'm thinking IACV, FUEL FILTER, DIRTY TB, your air filter is clean right and no water in the gas?

 

how u doing fellas??? ive had the same problem for 2 months now and i was wondering if anyone can help. My car starts up normally in cold weather but if i go to start it once it is hot the tach doesnt feel like climbing and once it does the tach jumps around a bit gettting as low as 400 rpms then climbs back up and then goes back down and at times it stalls. i think its a tps problem.. anyone know??????
