Multiple Cylinder Misfier from ignition coils

I have a '99 GXE and have had to replace the no. 6 cylinder's ignition coil. It ran good for about 5 months, then it is dropping a cylinder again. usually in the morning it starts right up. Sometimes it won't turn over the first time, but when it does, after it warms up it will eventually drop a cylinder and run like hell. Anyone else had this problem before? Know what to do? How much are ignion coils?

i had that problem in my 99 maxima. so when i took it over to service they said it was the ignition coils. the service adviser told me to things

1. he recomended that if i had the money to just replace all 6 because he said ouce one goes they all start going out.

2. if i didn't have the money to just replace the one that was broken. but he let me know that the other ones were going to break as well.

i don't know but i just replaced all of them.

I replaced my #5 coil as a just in case thing as it was covered in oil for a good long time. With my hook up I got it free It is nice knowing people who are head of a Nissan service dept.

I would only replace them as they went out though as I wouldn't see why one faulty one would mean all of them would start to go out. . . doesn't make much sense as each is a seperate electrical component. Although I know people with 2Ks that have replaced all of them as they were getting really bad gas milage and they updated them, although I don't know if this would affect 4th gens.
