Hi everyone Im new to the 4th Gen forum. I just brought a 1998 Nissan Maxima 30G (Australian Model A32 Series). It has the VQ30DE engine.

Are there anything I should know about this model? Any problems?
Its Automatic.... So is the tranny better than 3rd Gen trannys. I just traded my 3rd Gen Maxima inn on this beauitful model. My other Maxima is pictured below. I have to get my new maxima picture put online. So please let me know about anything I should be aware of. I have heard that this model is ver very reliable....... :P

welsum to the 4th gen forum !!!! 97+ maximas are did better on crash tests, the auto tranny kinda sucks - but you'll manage - i'm pretty sure you'll like hte 98 more than your 3rd gen =)
