Has anyone removed their Box?

Hi. Did anyone remove the box under the Headunit and put another headunit in there? I wanted to add a third din but I want to make sure I can put it back when I sell the car. Has anyone done this?

Thanks,
Erik

I haven't done it but I have taken out my stereo. I don't see why you can't take the tray out and put something else there. It is just held by 4 screws to the side plates.

Took out one of the 2 extra boxes that were in the dash to put in an EQ. . . Both could be taken out no problem though and swapped with another single-DIN item.
