A friend also was wondering about CA emissions. Here is his question if anyone can answer them:
I own a 1996 GXE and I am not sure if it is equipped with standard or Cali. emissions. How can you tell the difference?

I was sitting at a stoplight going to take a right onto a nice stretch of straight road leading to my house when I wondered "How this thing would do from a ever so slighly rolling start" Not like a 5MPH roll but sort of just letting off the brake in 1st and stomping it. I turned right and got down hard on the gas and man did the tires go up in a blaze! The RPM climbed very high very fast only before I noticed a large amount of tiresmoke emitting from my passanger side wheelwell before I shifted into second. It was beautiful, the tires were going up and then I caught second gear and was off like a flash. I LOVE THIS SC! MUWAAHAHAHAHA!

I have got to try to find a digi cam and get a movie of this. You guys would love it. =)
