Racing a 94 probe gt v6, 5 speed on sunday. He has a catback exhaust and intake. I got a 97 Maxima SE w/ y-pipe, catback exhaust, GC coilover, FTSB and intake. I raced him once on the freeway smoke him by like 3 car length at a 100mph never from start to finish down the 1320. What do you guys think??? Racing on Sunday for $100.

 

You should take him. I have a friend that had a Probe with I/Y/E. I would just BARELY pull on him until I got my y-pipe. Now I pull about two cars on him before I hit third. I am 5 speed btw!

 

You should take him. Use the 100 bucks on the Max.

Its still weird to me that people go out and race for money. I can see maybe $5 or something but someone actually going out and betting $100 on a race. Its just weird, I wouldnt do it unless I was 100% sure id win. Take Care

i cant believe u guys would ever lose to a ford probe. my friend has one. he talks alot of sht. all hes got is intake and a muffler. hes auto and im 5 speed. hes got the gt so he thinks hes the man. well one day after class we set up a lil race. i was so damn calm. he was sooooooo scared i could see it. next thing we know i beat him off the line and i smoke him buy about 5 car lengths. got it allll on tape too. trust me ford probes are crap. they have so many problems with them. thats the reason they discontinued them. trust me i know this cause my grand pops used to assemble ford cars. he hates that i got me a maxima. but trust me if u lose to a porbe i dont car if its got a damn turbo. i would prolly shoot myself. well thats my 2 cents dont get mad its just the way i feel. i hate ford products can u tell????

Last night.. I just raced an GT Eclipse and an Hyndai Tiburon.

Guess whoms won?

Got much props on the MAX'es.

Tiburon,,, was a joke!!.

(2001 model prolly) GT Eclipse- was in front of me and I was riden his a$$ (he was in left lane going 55mph and you suppose to go 65mph) So I guess he got ****ed and punched the pedal and eazed off me,, but no problem catchin is butt. and sucker decided to turn left after I passed him a half car length. And he even got the head start.

 

ford probes are for wussies. if i saw a ford probe on the road, i would just destroy it.

Remember, he who drives best wins. Bench racing don't tin the loot. BTW I know of guys who race for thousands. They are usually highly modified vehicles are usually are well below 10 sec 1/4 miles (one guy is around 8)
