Just got HIDs...Need Help!

Hello,
I recently got HIDs for my maxima(it was free..yes!).
I got a couple of guys to install it for me and they seemed to know what they were doing(well, at least thats what they said) so i didn't bother taking it to a professional. when all was done i started my car and all of a sudden my tape player started to make loud clicking noises! and when i turned on my headlight i noticed they were aimed totally wrong...the left one shoots up toward the signs! i was ready to kill the guys when they also told me not to go on the bumps too fast cuz they had TAPED everything in place..

Now every night i get flicked by SUV owners cuz they think i'm highbeaming at them, the noise on the tape player is as annoying as can be, AND I get the lovely smell of burning plastic every once in a while.
I know what you guys are thinking. But i honestly thought it'd be an easy thing considering the HID kit only comes with just a pair of bulbs and wires.

My question to you guys is, how can i re-aim my headlights?? I know there's part in there somewhere that lets you do that but i have no idea where. Also, does anyone know what those guys could possibly have done to cause my tape player to go crazy like that?
Please help me. I would really appreciate some answers. And by the way, I would like to read some replys before i finally decide to get ripped off from a shop(being a girl in my area really sucks) so don't lecture me on that just yet. =) Thanx

thanks a lot guys!
it did come with it. the guy said he had to use tape to keep the bulbs from falling out. my tape player is still acting up, but i did re-aim my lights. OgreDave, i'm assuming you've installed the HIDs yourself. how does yours attach in place(as far as bulbs)? sorry for not being specific..i'm trying my best to describe from my point of view..=(

Your kit only came with bulbs and wires? Did it come with ballasts? I don't have HID's, but from the kits I've seen, they come with bulbs and either 2 or 4 ballasts(they look like little boxes). Also, was your kit made for the 9004 bulbs that are stock in our maximas? If they are made for 9004's, there should be no reason for them to be taped in place, they should just twist in like regular bulbs, but if it was made for a different bulb, I could understand why it was taped. you might want to find some better way to keep the bulbs in if this is the case. maybe some bubble gum or something.
As far as the noise to your tape player, that might be a ground loop problem. If you do have ballasts, there should be one harness that connects to your old stock harness, and a wire that goes to a + power source and another wire that goes to a ground source. Make sure that both the + and especially the - are well connected. Try moving the - wire to a better spot or directly to the battery.
good luck

On mine hid setup, I use the original big black plastic lid that you have to unscrew to get the headlights out. That is holding the hid bulbs in for me.

If the bulbs didn't fit in all the way, they were supposed to trim the edges until it fit. I don't think your installers looked into every resource before throwing the kit together. Also you should have your headlights properly aimed at an inspection station. Its around $6.00 for the job.
