can a 95 ecu work in a 96?

can a 95 ecu work in a 96?
If anyone knows if a 95 ecu will work in a 96 or not please let me know, thanks.

hrmm - depends when the ecu came out....cause the late 96 maximas had a few extra sensors.....one of them was on the catylictic convertor......but i am not too sure if that would effect anything

Emissions are different on the 95 than other years as well. It has OBDII or something like that on 96+
