...which can do 0-60 in the neighborhood of 7.5 seconds, it will take about 44 feet to do so.

Damn...forgot to square the time...

It would take him 330 feet to go from 0 to 60mph.

i was gonna say, if a 95 Max GLE can go 0-60 in 44 feet, then I am trading in my max for a 95 hahaha

I'll be the fastest car around, as long as I didn't have to go faster than 60.

I'll start the 1/125th mile race hahaha

Formulas are here, or in any high school textbook:
Kinematics

You'll need to know that:

60 miles/hr = .0167 miles/sec
1 mile = 5280 ft

Calculate the acceleration; initial velocity and time are zero. Solve for distance and make sure your units are correct. Don't forget to square time, I've always forgot to do that, from high school through undergrad...

yup - 330' assuming uniform acceleration and 7.5 seconds. That seems short - hardly longer than a football field (w/ endzones)...
