I think they were trying to sell that for about $15,000 about a month ago. Were you pointing out the tail lights? Can you say wrecked. I swear I saw that same car a month ago for 5G's more. I'm from Bham and it caught my attention.

I thought that you could'nt swap rear ends, or front ends from 95-96 to 97-99, with out extensive modification? But i guess I was wrong.

those lights are easily interchangable ... you just have to switch the wiring so the brake light is on top .. you know what i'm tryin to say

Actually everyone, that is a ful 1997 Maxima SE. However, it seems to be that he got into an accident or something because that is just a 95-96 trunk lid.

The inner taillights on a 95-96 will not fit onto that of a 97-99, and vice versus. However, the outsides are interchangeable.

Swapping out the front and rear end a Maxima is very very easy. I should know because I did it. It requires no modification to the body of any sort. So its all good in that area.

Ramius is correct that is definately a 97, you can also tell by the interior it has the 97+ steering wheel amd the Tweeters on the door unlike the 96. Man someone should have told them that trunk looks rediculous a 95/96 trunk with 97-99 emblems with 95/96 inner lights, heck anyone can look and tell that it doesnt match. I feel for whoevers buys that!

I also read, that one of the fenders was re-painted. Although I wish my car had a black interior like that.
