I know the looks are totally different and the fogs are smaller on the 97 and all but whats the difference in the top part where the grille meets the top part of the bumper ?? I have a SMX grille on my 96' and I was lookin at a 97' bumper and the part that the grille hits looks the same so why wont it fit ??...
I need to know what bumper to order by tomorrow, 96' or 97 ? either way Im gettin a new one..

 

There is about 3/4 of an inch between the bottom of the 96 grille and the top of the 97+ bumper. My conversion was just done this week and I pick the car up friday. I saw it wednesday night in person.

 

Are you going to keep it like that or get a 97 grille....Im really stressing over this ??

 

I am going to stick with the 96 grille, I like it much better than the 97+ grille. I can take pictures of it tomorrow if you want. Email me to remind me if you want.
