You guys should all be happy this is even being done, none of you have fronted deposits so you shouldn't be so damn pushy. If you all want to front a couple hundred $$$ maybe there would be a lot more motivation for this, but right it is semi on the back burner with fiberglassing issues and having to come up with the huge deposit ourselves.

Being excited and looking forward to a new product and wondering when it will be available is 'so damn pushy'?

That's fine, I just don't see where anyone has 'demanded' an update. In looking back at the last several+ posts, I see people asking for updates. Either way, it's cool. I'm looking forward to its release.

Unless I missed something, I didn't know a deposit option was available as many have mentioned they would like to be one of the first (including myself). Well no better way to get the ball rolling then to take orders in advance to hel fund the production. I'm willing to pay first cause I believe shadow is good for it but this option was never given to us.

I'll talk to Jeff this weekend and see if he wants me to post a new thread with information about a deposit of like $20-$50 or so.. and I will personally keep track of it, and maybe we could get this going.. i'll post what goes down.

Jeff's been screwed by too many damned body kit manufacturers. I think he's gonna stick with metal parts for a while until he finds a non-crooked fiberglass company.

TYPE 2 WINGS ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have just spoken with the guy who is making the mold, he said the mold has been completed and he has a prototype wing at his shop for fitting and sizing.

Everything should be on GREEN light status and these wings will be available at the latest by mid September.

This is a for sure thing. More details and possibly images to be revealed at a later date. A new thread will be started when more info arises and this one will be deleted.

Thank you for your patience.

Oh great! I've waited 2 years for these babies,... nothing. Two years of having money burning in my pocket. Now Type II comes out - right at the time I decide to buy a house and I am absolutely broke.

Oh well. I'm glad everyone else can enjoy them.

Yup, it's a 95-96 Trenz Grille with a Nissan emblem from the 2002 Altima. I orginally wanted to use the emblem for the rear but it's slightly curved, just perfect fit for the grille however.

The Type 2 wings should retail for somewhere around $300.00 (US) and should be ready as I said before sometime in September.

Does this mean I get my original back before the 1 year anniversary of when I shipped it? Sometime in September of last year!

Personally guys I know first hand the hell that has been gone through to make these things. Including one company bailing out on a signed deal, etc... etc... The maxima community is very lucky to have people on here that perservere to get a product made, I know I have gone ape **** about getting my wing back several times now.

Ok, here's the deal with the Type II wings we are making. First of all, sorry about the lack of communication/delays, etc. Not quite as easy to get it made as we had first envisioned.

Anyways, the manufacturing company has possession of the wing now, along with a spare decklid from a Maxima to ensure fitment. But production will not being until May 1. They are swamped right now with other orders, etc. And obviously you don't want to rush them or else we'll end up with bad fitting wings like the original Stillen ones. The capacity will be about 10 wings per week, so supply shouldn't be a problem.

We have not set final pricing yet because we want to make sure of everything. But it will be very reasonable, not out to gouge anybody here. For pics of the wing, just do a search, almost all of you know what it looks like by now. And it will use the factory mounting holes, that's why they have the spare decklid.

And much thanks to Delio for putting up with this 6 month ordeal. Otherwise, it would have been an even longer wait.

good job
