when i went home from the club i went speeding. I felt a big diffrence with overdrive off. I went to 130 with no problems. **** it was smooth. SO smooth. Dam felt so good. I couldn't gone more but i was to scared thinking i would flip and crash and how my parents would be so upset. I was thinking my tires would blow up. O well.. whats the fatest anyone has gone?

you couldn't have been going more than 120 in your max unless you disabled the speed limiter by getting an uprgraded ECU or cutting somw wires, other wise, 120 is all you went!

GXE's and GLE's have limiters to 120. SE's and GXE's w/C&C can reach 143mph.

 

120 is the speed limiter in a maxima, not in lexus. I'm Russian.

 

His point is that your wrong. Your only limited in the GXE and GLE, and that's IF you are missing the C&C package, from what I've seen, most GXE owners (in my area anyway) have it (the package) including myself. I've a 95 GXE, and have hit 135 before I got too scared to push it further.

No I don't think so. But you shouldn't have a speed limiter regardless. If you have a chrome exhaust tip, power drivers seat, and cruise control then you have it anyways.

Um..nice try but I've worked for Lexus for 4 years! The GS300 was introduced late 92. Some were registered as 92s and some as 93s. In fact, my manager has one of the first GS's we recieved and its registered as a 92.

It is the Comfort and Convenience package. See my post above to check if you have it. BTW Overdrive off does not make our cars go faster, it is a rumor and all it does is disengage 4th gear.
