If u have a CAI (and im sure im not the only one that does this) and u puch it a lil just to get tha great (vwwwwooooooommmmmmmmmmmmm) then it really attracts police, also , the blue lights do and ehaust or any after market modifications. The police know wuts up with these "Import Racers" and i believ they are trying to put a stop to it, so annyone with any of these mods, just BE CAREFUL, and be smart. Has this happened to anyone?

In the last month I was polled over twice in the same ,

week and got hurrased,Any ways it did not cost me anything it just wasted my time.I got polled over the first time for having 6 headlights {I only drive with 4 now} and I was also pulled over by a sycho cop saying my exaust was to loud and he gave me a 5 day fix it ticket which I convienietly had written off the next day.I hate most cops.

Re: In the last month I was polled over twice in the same ,

I have one that beats that. When my car was stock, I was driving at night in downtown Nashville (TN) and got pulled over for having my factory fog lights on. When the cop got to the car he also gave me a ticket for having a sun strip. That f@#$%!% cop must have had a mission that night to **** as many people off as he could. He must have been mad because I was a young kid driving around a nicer car than he had. Anyway, I went to court and got it thrown out, but I still had to pay a $12 processing fee, and they told me to take off my sun strip. I still have the sun strip on and I always drive with my fogs on. The kicker is that on that night it was actually foggy, that sack of shot must have been really bored. Sorry about that I was just getting it off my chest from (2 years ago).

I Have respect for the job, but some guys ruin it for everyone

Obviously cops get beat on pretty hard on this board. I have some friends that are cops, that are cool sh it. They do their job and are friendly. I have respect for them because it is not an easy job especially around the city. HOWEVER!!, there are some cops who just get off on busting people's asses. It's ridiculous, its these jerks that ruin it for the the rest of the force that is just trying to make a decent buck to raise their family. The job is "To protect and serve" not "To protect my ego, and serve you a hot poker up the ***!"

I agree totally...The few bad apples give the rest a bad name.

Hey Chris I was driving like a normal person,

when I got pulled over the 2 times I stated above, infact both times traffic was riding my asz and was not speeding. So what you said is not always true but in most cases it is.

Peace

here's why

emax95.. reason you get pulled over. HID 's ?
you have an exhaust and rims.. this attracts cops...

REason me and chris don't get pulled over..
Cops hears the noise of a CAI .. looks over and sees a stock looking 4dr family sedan .. thinks to himself " can't be that grocery getter" must've missed the civic.. ? muhahaha

thats why i'd never put an aftermarket chrome shiny muffler on my car ... or chrome rims...
I plan on gettin a complete exhaust VERY soon .. ypipe,cat,bpipe....but the muffler stays so i look stock..

It was a five day fix it ticket,so I just had to bring my car to any official Inspection station in R.I. ,so I just went back to were my car was inspected 2 weeks before and my buddy just stamped and sind the form, just to let you know there is no law stating a DB limit in my state so they can't to anything to you except hurrass you, also if you do not have a Y-Pipe the exaust will be no way near as loud as mine, you can also use header rap on your B-Pipe and it will make it a little quiter {I did}.
