help! need ABS info for 99 maxima SE

hello. i'm new. i don't know much about cars either. i recently just purchased a 99 maxima SE from a nissan dealer. when i was looking at the car, i remember seeing on the window sticker that the car had ABS brakes. i didn't really think much of it, because at the time, NOT having ABS brakes would not have deterred my decision to buy the car, and having ABS wasn't a factor in my purchase.

however, now that i am getting acquainted with the car, i've noticed that when i turn the car on, no ABS light pops up in the sensor area. is there an *easy* physical way for me to determine whether my car has ABS?

next, assuming the car DOES NOT have ABS, is there anything i can do at this point after purchase since the car was advertised with ABS? i still have all the original paperwork, and even the window sheet that states the car does have ABS. is getting some money back from the nissan dealer out of the question? i am very happy with the car after all.

if i can determine the car DOES have ABS, i just need to get it looked at and figure out if there is something wrong with the brakes, or maybe i have a broken sensor light. thanks.

I went through a similiar situation with my 97 GLE. One day the front tires locked up on me and I thought my ABS was broken. It turns out it doesn't have it, which shocked me since I thought it did. Look under the hood and see if there are any fuses/relays for the ABS system. You could also go stomp on the brakes in a wet parking lot. I'm sure something can be done if you were told the car had a feature and it really doesn't but make sure it doesn't have it first.
