Momo Storm or Stormwood if you got wood inside. Had both of them and love it.

Got a Momo Race Air Leather. Love it!! (& yes, it was a bit of $$) Fits the hand well. I like it much more than the tear-drop shaped stock ****. The Momo's in my sig pic (right panel).

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the hand brake? I have an SMC shifter coming in at the end of the week, and I've been shopping for shift *****. But one thing I would like is a matching hand brake.

Was it difficult to install? Does Momo make it?

No, I didn't get the Momo handle (which is sweet but I got no idea of fit & cost). Okay, don't laugh.... I acutally got my handle & handle boot from Walmart. It's stainless/flat black. It was hard to find something that fit b/c of the rectagular shape cross section of the metal hand-brake "shaft" that's underneath the handle cover.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the make/model of the "wal-mart" special. You've got to make sure that whatever you buy, make sure the inner dia. is big enough. This really shortlists what's available for the Max. My handle's got 2 set-screws.

To remove the stock handle:
- use a hairdryer to warm up the stock plastic piece;
- use a rag to cushion the handle's butt; then
- use flathead screwdriver & hammer to knock off handle.

I had to modify the walmart boot to fit too. E-mail me again when you get to this stage. (Details are too lengthy to post here)

b/c I found the stock brake button a bit short, I used a end of a 30 amp in-line fuse to fit over it. I painted it silver to match.

Good luck! (I've got a couple more pix of this off my homepage.)

I had the Momo Race Air Leather **** too. The MOMO label (it's a sticker that you have to put on yourself) came part and the metal on top got very dull looking over time. I threw it way after I got my STS, and put the stock **** back on. I might have to try the SE-R one. Anyone have pics of it???

i got the same shift ****, i like it a lot and it looks real good, the thing i like is the aluminum on top darkens from the oil on ur hands giving it a dark haze , but it looks really good, its like a dark shade aluminum, honestly though i been thinking of getting a vertical bar just cuz i think they are good for control and really slamming the gears. but if you are going for feel this thing fits perfectly in your hand, plus i cut my lever down by like 2 inches.
