noisy brake

Help...My car was making incredible squeaking noise...changed the brake pas and disk in front and back but they are still making the noise

Anyone has an idea what it might be?

What kind of pads are you using? When you changed the pads, did you resurface the rotors?

Whats the story with doing the back pads on my Max ???
I heard something about you have to screw the piston in ???
I replaced the front pads with Nissan pads about 3 weeks ago and now the squeaking out of the back pads is unreal, not so much going forward but when i start to reverse even without braking the squeaking is realy loud. A mate said the pads could be worn down to the sensor but they look OK to me and I have no light comming on in the dash

Sorry Maxpower96 not taking over your thread but we might be able to kill 2 birds with the 1 stone here

Grease

It is ur friend........make sure that u use the noise reducing shims + grease...

I left them out the first time and its the difference between a quiet ride and scratching nails on a chalkboard

Its been 3 monthe since i fitted the new nissan pads and they are still squeaking like mad in reverse only. The pads have been off 3 times cleaned and regreased plus the discs have been resurfaced aswell.
Could there be something that i'm overlooking here as the noise is starting to p*** me off now

Finally got a pain in my *** with the squeaking and went out and bought a different set of pads (not Nissan) for the rear brakes and for some reason the squeaking has vanished.

The thing i don't understand is the 1st set of pads were from Nissan themselves so would i be wise to bring the pads back to Nissan and get my money back or am i just wasting my time
