New (to me) Maxima
New (to me) Maxima
About 3 weeks ago I got a 99 GLE. Great car 'cept for one thing. At highway speeds, particularly on a curve, applying the brakes makes the steering wheel shudder. I read in the FAQs about this condition, though I can't remember the name of it.
The car has 41K miles on it. Is there any hope of having Nissan fix this or is normal maintenance to resurface the rotors every 30-40K?

Make sure when you get your rotors machined that the pads are causing this problem as well.
Last year I had the same problem. It turned out that my pads were screwed and caused the rotors to go bad.
