I have been noticing that my engine runs real rough while the car is in DRIVE. When I come to a light I notice a lot of vibration coming from the engine. When I set it in PARK or NEUTRAL it runs smooth. It has been progressively getting worse. I poured in two bottles of fuel injector cleaner and it ran better for a few days but then the vibration came back. Any ideas? It has 50,000 miles on it. Could it be a clogged fuel filter?

 

Have you changed the fuel filter? What about cleaning the throttle body?

Clean out your TB and IAC and PCV and change your fuel filter...
