Seatbelt Tension
Seatbelt Tension
I find the seatbelt on my '97 SE does not have the tension on it that I'd like to hold me firmly in the seat as I got around corners (in day-to-day driving). Short of buying a racing harness or racing seat, are there any ideas on how to be more "held-in-place" in the seat?
I've made all the adjustments I can to the seat like angling the seat bottom back to prevent submarining & reducing the lumbar support to the max (for max side bolster support).

Scoot the seat back an inch or two.
Put on your seatbelt.
Yank the belt so it locks, and wont extend anymore.
Scoot the seat back forward to its normal position.
You should be plenty snug now...

Yeah, hold the belt tight while you move the seat forward.
