My max is overheating

My cay started overheating the other day and I replaced the thermostat and it didnt fix the problem. So i went to a local mechanic and he said its my radiator. So im wondering if there is any good high performance radiators like fluidyne or any other kind of good performance radiators for the maxima to keep the engine cool.

Thanks, Cliff

Ask him what, exactly, is wrong with your radiator. Also, test your temp guage sending unit.

I really havent heard of any aftermarket radiators for the max. I mean even with boltons like SC etc it seems like the stock one still holds up fine. It might be tough to find one.

Yeah, did it actcually overheat, or did the guage just tell you so.

What kind of shape is the radiator cap in? Maybe try a 300zx cap?

yea i would ask whats wrong with the radiator.

anyways, i think its smart to pressure test your cooling system, that will tell you if you have any leaks in the system and also see if the cap is holding pressure anymore.

Aside from the temp sender... make sure the electric fans go on...
