Help on suspension

Ok, I've had the '99 SE/LE lowered for 2+ years now, and it's been grinding since day one, and I never really bothered with it until just recently. I think I may just replace the whole suspension setup with new Konis and H&R springs, question is, what other parts do I need (that need to be replaced) aside from 4 struts and 4 springs? Part numbers?

Thank you very much!

Ya I been dealing with the noise too.

Today I think I decided to draw the line. I thought I was about to se my wheels go roling out in front of me when I turned off the music and listened for a while(I always drive music full volume, I wanna be a deaf old man)

I am gonna try and go to the Rutgers meet sunday and get some opinions and help.

Re: Help on suspension

Check your strut boot to see if they are torn, if they are replace them. Part number just go to the dealer they know or someone here on the org gives discounts on stock parts. BTW if your gettin AGX they come with new dust boots already!!

I recall reading somewhere (long long ago) that any aftermarket struts/shocks replacements will require that we cut off parts of the stock units? Any information on that? Thanks!

Before the AGX's, the only other adjustables for the MAX were the Konis. These were made as inserts and required the cutting of the stock strut housing to install the Koni unit. The AGX's are direct OEM replacements and bolt right on. No cutting. Easy install. Completely replaces the stock strut.
