Yes you can. I would do the rewire rather than cutting off a nipple. Ouch. hehe

Benefits = not ugly

All you need to know. Also, search is your friend. Also, they are called clearance lights...

Yeah, that's a nice write up. I have a 95 and leave mine stock. I like cornering lights and you offer a great way for later Max owners to get them too.

dude, it takes like 2 mins, seriously. Take out the bulb. Take a piece of sandpaper and sand of the nipple closest to the bulb(someone double check me on that) and then put the bulb back in backwards. Repeat to otherside and done.

yeah, the top nipple...i did this with my stock bulbs before i changed them to hyperwhites...too lazy to do the full rewiring, and works just as well...but nice write-up hakk97se

but if you don't care about being able to turn it off, dim, etc...just take the bulb out, clip or sand down the top nipple (closest to the glass)...i used the brick on the side of my house, much faster

Yup, just finished 'rewiring' my corner lights too... All i did was clip off the nub closest to the bulb and reinstalled it... Now it matches my headlights perfectly... Another kickass cheapskate mod
