NOT just another clear tail question...

Before someone tells me to use the search function, let it be known that my tail light housing if off on both lights. I used the oven method. My question is when your finished making the clears out of teh flourecent light covers, do you put them in the light housing or glue them in the lense? and after you do that, do you put them back in the oven till the glue gets warmed up and push the lense back in ?
or you just push the lense back in without warming it again? Thanks in advance.
by the way, all the posts talk about how to take the lense off, none of them talk about how to put it back on..

Well, use logic. It obviously won't fit where the old yellow piece was and stay there, there is nothing to hold it's shape. If you make the new lens properly, you can put it in the lens facing and it will mold to the right shape and hold there just fine. That's what most people do. That's how I did mine. To put it back together, I pushed the lens partway back onto the housing so that it was on, but not tight. I then stuck it back in the oven for a few mins to warm up the glue to the point that I could push it back together. Worked like a charm. Futhermore, I did talk about putting it back on at http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=106616

Good luck!

I recomend to cut the florecent light a little bigger use the yellow lense as a gide. Keep testing it and cutting it till you feel that you can pish it in and it should stock there without any glue. Good luck with that mood.
