I dunno if its me but i thought diamond cuts were different. You tell me. I just bought these from an .org member who said they were when he sold them to me, in fact he gaurnteed me they were. So can u guys tell me.

umm, these are anything BUT diamond cut. They dont look like the old style ones and they sure as hell arent diamond cut. Their some type of aftermarket thingy in the middle. Basically you got hosedd. How much did u get them for?

huh? theyre not the diamonds but theyre not something unrecognized. theyre the regulars. dont worry bout it man, they still look better than the orange. i got my regulars for 40- and i love em. \

how can you guys tell the diff. between regulars and diamond cut? I got mine from Courtesy...are those diamond or not?

 

They do look better than the orange... but the point is he probably overpaid for them and someone from the org ripped him off.
I got a set of used regular clears for only $20 bucks. Everyone who notices them has told me they look so much better than the stock ones.

i got diamond cut bumpers and there's a good difference between them...first off, i have a 95 so clears would look good on my car but he looks like he has 97+ maxima cause his head lights look real clear...and those are the type that match best with diamond cut bumpers...so although the clears would look good with his, it's the principle first off that would make me yell at dat dude and put him on blast, not to mention diamond cut matches better....for clears, i wouldn't pay no more than 30 shipped, for diamond cut, so many people selling them, i wouldn't buy for more than 50 shipped, although i got mine 60 shipped but that's when the demand was high and supply was a little low

 

i think they look like diamond i hae diamonds from procarparts 20 bucks i love ebay :-) they look lik eit but not as bright as mine

I honestly don't think those are diamond clear. I'd talk to him about it and try to work something out...because those don't look anything like mine. I bought from custommaxima and they are very clear. Those seem to be almost foggy or white like the older regular clears. So, sorry to disappoint you but you didn't get what you payed for.....but on the plus side, you have a nice looking car. goodluck working stuff out

Kudos to you for not immediately going to Defcon 1 and making a big mess of the situation like so many .org members have done before you. Like you said, it could just be a simple misunderstanding between two well meaning people. Patience does have it's virtues. I hope everything works out for you.

Definitely not D.C., but as others said, way better than orange & you didn'y overpay for them, so, up 2 u if you want to go through the hassle of return/exchange/buying again.

im not sure. i would guess that light gets through the diamond cut ones better but if there is any difference i dont think its that noticeable.

 

just an update on this situation. The seller has decided to give me back my money, in which case im not gonna spread his name. Im glad it turned out well

 

Fwiw, you've set a great example of how to conduct yourself in resolving a business deal gone wrong. PLENTY of people on this .org could take a cue from you. No whining, no bad-mouthing b4 you've made a genuine 1-on-1 effort at a resolution with the other party.

I generally try to follow the three strikes rule: give someone 3 interactions/opportunities to resolve a situation, then & only then (if business hasn't been taken care of), the gloves come off. . .

regular clears have reflectors on the side...with a bright enuff amber bulb cops will prob let u slide...diamond cut clears has no side reflecter...this is a real NO-NO...

i like orange personally. It is just it looks better with clears in the rear on a black car, but i did like the orange up front. Anyway i bought the front lens' becasue i have it in the rear. It looked a little funny not matching. On beige, and green color cars i hate seeing any form of clears, i think it looks way better with orange

As a side note, i dont like bumper lens and am thinking of getting rid of them somehow, just looks like too many lights up front with headlights, bumper, and then fogs.

 

You definately got hosed those are diamond cloudies, the diamond cut are clear and you can see the chrome inside of them. I bought 2 spare sets and gave one to Mardigrasmax, but thats f!!ked up that id!ot fooled into buying those cloudy ones for diamond cut clears. The ones from courtesy nissan are overpriced and yes they are the cloudy ones. email this guy he has the diamond cut clears for $35 plus shipping I got my in 2 days maxima98 something like that is his org name. He shipped out same day, these are real deal and fit very snug and perfect so to me the one this guys sells is the real deal.

depends, how long has it been? usually its some 30 day deal to return stuff. If its been past that long and u still got the box, just return it anyway, they usually give you store credit or do what i did smoke them out.
