Cold Air Intake

Whats up

I'm looking to replace my stillen intake with a CAI and I was wondering which one is the best. My max currently has many mods and just looking to add a little more. I intend to do NOS (well nx) right after the cold air install. Also can someone recommend a good wheel and tire size for a set of drag slicks and some good brake pads for a set of cross drilled rotors. Thanks, I'll get some picts and info up on my Ride.

I would probably stay with a pop charger then. It has a shorter intake stak, so more air can pass with ease.

I just went from the Stillen replica intake to an upper CAI pipe/stillen intake setup to a Place Racing CAI. Speaking for my car, the upper pipe seemed to give me better gains than without it when I had the Stillen replica intake, and then when I went from the upper pipe/Stillen intake setup to the CAI, I didn't feel much of a difference, so my conclusion is, I think you'd beneift a lot by removing the stock resonator box and putting in that upper CAI pipe, when you have the lower pipe installed (CAI) I think its more about the thought of just having cold air coming to the manifold, but I honestly can't say which is better because I haven't actually taken the upper pipe setups to the track yet. All I know is the upper pipe changes the whole sound, makes the intake louder, and feels like there's more air flow getting in the manifold.
