What exactly does the RT CAT do and how effective is it. Also is it beneficial use both Y pipe and RT Cat. How much does this cost and what are the gains. Thanks for the input.

Y-pipe (~$300) is worth ~10hp at the wheels. RT Cat (~$180) is worth ~7hp at the wheels. Add the Palace Racing Cold Air Intake(CAI)(~$220) and its all worth a total of ~25hp at the wheels.

Check your e-mail, I have a slightly used RT CAT for sale.

What?

Ok here the skimmy. The Cattman SS Y-pipe ~450 the RT cat is ~170.00 and the CAI is ~205. All these mods together will net you ~22hp and 21TQ peek numbers to the wheels. Well at least it did for me. Stock was 162hp & 176TQ at the wheels.

I'd say it would be hard to actually hp gain on each part since they all need to be in palce to gain the most power. For instace the CAI only added ~6 hp to my car, but with out the CAI the rt cat and y pipe dont seem to add 16hp alone. All need to be inplace in order to see the combined gains.
