I have ALL OF YOU to thank for this....

hahah, i bet all of you came in here thinking i got a new mod or something but I didn't. The reason why i'm so happy i ever knew this site is because an old friend of my brothers came over our house yesterday and surprisingly he has a nissan maxima 4th generation. It was black and looked like a 95 GXE, i could tell from first sight and would never have known the difference between a 92 and a 96 maxima without this site (yea i was dumb before i came here) now he pulls up to our house talking about, "my man just got this 98 maxima" so my brother asks him "what year is yours?" and he says "99" and i'm in mind saying "who the hell does he think he's kidding?!"...first off, in back, brake lights are in bottom, and he only has power seats, IF THAT on the driver side, i checked passanger side and it looks just like my car....he has no sunroof, cloth interior, no fog lights, a sonly cd player with these small weak speakers that are found on GXE's, nothing special on his car at all but has like 80,000 miles which is better than my 107,000

one thing he had though was this special thing on his bumpers...it's like some hard fabric which he says he got from the dealer when he bout the car 6 months ago. He got it for free. It looks kind of bad with a black car cause it takes away that smoth gloss they have but it seems to protect against people bumping into your bumpers, u know when u trying to parallel park....he said its free and my bumpers are like torn up (need a paint job) so i'm thinking about getting it, especially if it's free....it's a little darker than the regular color of your car (comes in every color) and the fabric feels like...hmm....concrete i would say....

i'm just happy to know so much about the maxima. After he got out the car and talked to my bro, he came over to my car and started asking all these questions like how and where did i get my diamond cut bumpers, told him bout my fogs, etc. he's like how u get everything so cheap? i told him about the forum so in the next few days u may see a new member lurking. He'll probably see this thread and tell me to go to hell but oh well, another guy trying to deceive me...ha! MAXIMA baby!!!

Ummmmmm..

He did have a 1997-1999 Maxima. Brake lights are on the bottom in those years. On top and bottom for 1995-1996.

Power Seats have absolutely nothing to do with model year.

Maybe I misread you...you tend to talk in run-on sentences. Calm down man...think about your grammar.

Were you disputing that he had a GXE vs an SE or GLE or that he had a 1998 Maxima?

If he did have a GXE, then he was a wise buyer, because he probably paid less for his car and now he has money to make it faster and prettier than yours!

Hey Bro take it easy on the sweet snacks before you post...

I read that post and I started to sweat. You type about 123 words a minute or what.

I am glad that you feel wise in the ways of the Maxima now but it is only important to you.....

J/K Man and thanks for the post?

Can you resize mine? It's blurry because the guy that helped me before had to mess with it.

Read the VI Threads.

My Dyno numbers seem awfully low, but the curve differences between VI on and Off look very good.

Yo Meccanoble, your new sig is real nice. Much more flattering than before, showing the real beauty of your car.

Open them in Photoshop

Go to "Image", "Adjust Image Size" (or something like that)

Change it to 4x6 instead of 1,000,000x1,000,000, like you have it now.
