Removing Rear Brake Light

I'm trying to remove my rear brake light because I added on the spoiler. I disconnected the light from the back of the car but I can't unplug the wire. Maybe I'm just not pulling hard enough because I'm afraid of disconnecting the wrong thing and then having none of my brake lights work.

its a plug, you have to press a little button on the plug and pull on it at the same time.

I got it now. I figured that was what I had to do but it was dark inside the car and I couldn't see where the button was.
