Y-pipe from my 97, going on to a 99, problems?

I noticed that the intructions that came with my Stillen Y-pipe showed that the short piece that connects to the exhaust manifold on my destroyed 97, isn't used on the 99 that I currently have sitting unregistered in my garage. Will I be able to steal the OEM Y off the 99 and put it on the 97? I don't have the OEM Y-pipe that came with my 97 anymore. Just wondering what I can/should do here....

Thanx
Ryan

I don't beleive there is any difference from '97 to '99. There is a difference from CA spec. to Fed. spec. though. Good luck.

If your 99 is fed-spec...than you're fine...if it's cali-spec....it won't work...
