that's ok. that's one thing i really like about these rims.
not everybody likes them.

 

they not bad - i prefer rims with centercaps though

But if you like the K1's, then thats all that really matters

 

Man I love the rims. They look superb on dark cars. I have a '99 sherwood green, and I would love to find rims that come in that color w/out the powdercoating... I'm positive the coating would get f|_|cked up within a couple weeks on my car.

 

That's the rims I was planning to get for a long time, but have to get a max first

Reading the replies, and other posts, about black rims... most don't like them, but that's coming from guys with 18's+, chromes, and overall tacky cop magnets.

Look's very clean, except I would tint the rear lights to maybe 70% and tint the Maxima logo and put it back in the center to achieve a little more balance on the trunk lid.

(P.S. just as a reference, I'm a commercial designer, people pay me to tell them what looks good , and your car does )

Thanks for the props and the suggestions...good to have some professional design advice ...I like the idea of the blackened Max logo...never considered that before...darkening up the tails would look really good, but the police are pretty strict about that sort of thing around here.

i like them oz racing f1 cups, just wish i had a black max to put them on (going to get silver rims for my sterling mist 4th gen soon)

I was thinking about a set of those because of their weight and that nice color, but I was reluctant since I had no idea how they'd look on a green car.

What size are those? By any chance can you tell if they have significantly more clearance to the calipers compared to the 5 spoke 4th gen SE or 5th gen 16" rims? I'm trying to clear a fastbrakes kit with 16" rims.

Also, I see that you have a Yakima rack. For the life of me, I've been having a heck of a time getting mine installed. Was yours an easy install or are there a few tips to follow? Any help appreciated on this one!

I have a Yakima rack on my black 95 SE and that POS is rusted everywhere. After spending over $500 on various parts I am not too happy. Any idea on their warranty?
